Mission Statement

Tri-State General Insurance Agency is an Excess and Surplus Lines Insurance Agency. We solicit and service commercial property and casualty business from retail insurance brokers.

Our overall agency goal is to be the friendliest and most professional surplus lines agency in our territories of operation. Our primary are of operation are the states of PA, MD, VA, DC, DE and NJ.

We gladly accept phone submissions and strive to provide quotes on these submissions within 24 hours.

We recognize the importance of a strong partnership with our companies and act at all times with complete honesty to our mutual business interest. We will represent only top quality, financially strong companies that also put a premium on fast friendly service.

We understand the importance of maintaining a book of business that provides these carriers with an acceptable loss ratio. We will strive to maintain loss ratios of less than 50% with all of our companies.
